Cocoon and Hat
I made this for my friend Ashley who has a photography business. I thought it would be a great prop for her. It reminds me of a pea in a pod. When I gave it to her she fell in love with it. I made an infant hat and also a toddler hat. I would love to make more of these, maybe a brown one to represent a bear.
For the cocoon I worked on the green loom, ewrapped and knit to 25 inches long. For the hat I used the small blue preemie/infant round loom and also the red loom for the toddler hat.

Love it!!! I just got an idea!!! What if you made giant pom poms to make them look like peas on the pod??? I am not sure how big they'd be though...
ReplyDeleteAnd if you did a bear one, maybe if you did the hat, and didn't tie it off like usual - just sewed it shut at the top and then did a pom pom on each corner... That'd be cute!
I may do another pea in the pod one. I thought about the bear hat thing as there is a lady on one of the kk groups on fb that was toying with the idea of doing the same thing. I am going to play around with it
