I have been really busy lately making lots of hats for my etsy shop. So far, I have sold 3 hat, bootie and diapercover sets and 2 separate hats. I am constantly on the look for new yarn to make fresh and new hats. I am in the middle of a trade for 4 hats at the moment for one of my due date mommas. She wants the hats in trade for her wonderful handmade bibs she makes. I thought it would be a great way to get my work out there for others to see. I am really excited about making up the last hat and getting all 4 out to her. They should be ready by tomorrow. I also have a new project for one of my angelmomma friends. She messaged me and let me know that she would like 2 blankets for her sweet twin boys for their daycare. I am going to pick up the yarn tomorrow. Anyway, here are some pictures of recent hats that I have been working on. Enjoy!
A blog about loom knitting, knifty knitting and sometimes crocheting! I will be adding pictures, videos and tutorials as time allows. Hope you enjoy my blog and come back soon!

Hats, Booties and Diapercover Sets!
I am so excited about these cute sets I've been making. They are adorable. I actually already sold the girls one to one of my friends who has a photography business. She said it was exactly what she was looking for. I made another set but in blue and she is taking that one too. I am really happy with how they turned out. They are made with bernat baby blanket yarn and are very soft and fluffy. I am getting alot of new ideas off of my knifty knitter facebook group. I find that the ladies there are quite generous with there patterns and are very helpful. Anyway I am now working on a ladybug set and hopefully will have the pictures up soon!

Loom knitted Diaper Cover
I am so excited that I finally found a great loom knitted diaper cover! I bought the pattern from one of the members on my loom knitting group on facebook. Her name is Erin Lomaster and her pattern can be found here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/77737107/basic-loom-knitted-diaper-cover-pullover
You will love to make it as it is really easy! She is quite talented! She just seems to come up with the nicest patterns. I am really happy with how the diaper cover turned out. I can't wait to make more of them in different ways. Right now I have made a bear one, although I have to add the pom pom on the back..lol. Anyway, here is the diaper cover that I made today.

Working on more items
I am busy busy busy working on new items to post. I have been working hard on dishcloths, who knew that they would be such a hot seller? I have sold 8 so far which is enough to cover my costs of the yarn and now the proceeds from every dishcloth that sells will go to my friend who is fighting 4 types of cancer. I am glad to do this very small thing for her. Every little bit helps. I am selling the dishcloths for $2.50 each. I tried them out the other day and I rather like them! They really scrub well. I am still working on my scarves and hats and selling them too but they are pretty slow sellers since it is so hot out. My best friend said that she would like to get a big order of scarves from me for christmas gifts so that is awesome. I am looking forward to my cousin coming over and showing me how to do booties on a fine gauge sock loom. She has really taken a liking to loom knitting and she is really good. I on the other hand have a hard time reading patterns but I'm sure with her help I will become a pro like her. Anyway, thats all for now. I hope to upload some new pics in the next couple days

Dishcloths!
I am now making dishcloths. I love them. I am going to be adding them to the fundraiser for my friend. I am currently seeking opinions on how much to sell them for. I want to make good money for my friend who has cancer. Anyway, I was told that making them with cotton yarn is best as they can be bleached if necessary. I really like the feel of them. I made these on the pink knifty knitter, used all the pegs and did 20 rows. They make a nice size dishcloth, not to big, not to small. Hope you enjoy!

Cocoon and Hat
I made this for my friend Ashley who has a photography business. I thought it would be a great prop for her. It reminds me of a pea in a pod. When I gave it to her she fell in love with it. I made an infant hat and also a toddler hat. I would love to make more of these, maybe a brown one to represent a bear.
For the cocoon I worked on the green loom, ewrapped and knit to 25 inches long. For the hat I used the small blue preemie/infant round loom and also the red loom for the toddler hat.
And it begins!
Just wanted to start a blog of my loom knitting. I will be adding new projects that I have been doing hopefully weekly. I want to write down tutorials of what I have done in the pattern so that others can create what I have done if they want. I have found that alot of places on the web do not have this and it becomes very frustrating when you really like a project but there are no directions to do it. So it begins! Hope you like my blog and hope you get some great ideas!
